Mediation and Arbitration Services

Reaching settlements utilizing mediation or arbitration depends to a large extent on the quality of the neutral. Our neutrals bring unusual passion, experience and remarkable effectiveness to the table - attributes essential to individuals and corporations involved in critical and high-profile legal proceedings.

At Civil Settlements, the record of our neutral speaks for itself, and what it says is remarkable. The degree of efficiency and economy which we bring to bear by settling cases before excessive litigation costs are incurred is extraordinary.

Negotiation Services

The firm is uncommonly devoted to ensuring its clients are extraordinarily well-represented when faced with diverse contract negotiations. We use our experience to ensure nothing is left on the table after your deal is complete.

We are often asked if we are able to help local talent with their contract negotiations. The answer is a resounding YES. We are especially sensitive to our up-and-coming clientele of newly emerging start-up artists and we are well-positioned to help these individuals begin their journey in a positive, knowledgeable and prosperous manner.

Seminar/Motivational Speaking Services on Negotiation Practice

Having a workforce with well-honed negotiation skills is simply good business and our negotiation seminars are no-nonsense. You will not find "trust" exercises or cooperative building block projects on our agenda. In fact, one of the first things your employees will be taught is NOT to trust the opposing side. Sound counterintuitive? Well, not when you are teaching negotiation skills.

We know that the bottom-line purpose of your company is to make money - and so do your employees. Your employees want the tools they need to meet your high expectations and to provide the excellence you count on.

Our dynamic seminars not only provide the essential tools of negotiation to your employees, they infuse your employees with excitement and the knowledge that they have the means to excel in both their personal and business lives.

But we don’t stop there. We continue the momentum and solidify the newly learned skills of your employees by providing insightful and confidence-building follow-up training seminars.

Your employees are smart, savvy and know that the bottom-line purpose of your company is to make money. We teach the negotiation skills that they can use to succeed and accomplish that goal. They want these real life skills, not a cold but interesting day of self-exploration in ice caves.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The process begins when both parties agree on a mutual date and location for the arbitration, mediation, negotiation or seminar. Civil Settlements will diligently work with difficult time schedules to ensure our clients receive the high quality of service they have come to expect and deserve.

The aforementioned date is officially reserved when payment is received for the anticipated time period. If applicable, briefs from both sides should be sent and exchanged with the opposing side at least five days prior to the date of the mediation. All briefs remain confidential and are promptly destroyed after said mediation.

Civil Settlements requires any and all cancellations to be received within 48 hours prior to the scheduled event. Civil Settlements will not be able to refund deposited fees if the event is not cancelled within that time frame.
